CVMC's Walking Path | Central Vermont Medical Center employees, patients, and their families are able to enjoy a serene and beautiful walking path that seven wellness program volunteers weed whacked, pruned, raked and marked earlier this summer. The quarter mile long walking path starts behind Woodridge and is marked by a large pole attached to a tree with orange streamers. The path is clearly marked by the streamers wrapped around trees that lead walkers through a mostly wooded terrain. A nice place to stay cool for the summer!
CVMC hopes to continue to expand on this venture by getting some help from volunteers to bush hog the path periodically. As well, CVMC will develop another trail that will bring walkers to a small waterfall where there will be a place to sit and listen to nature.
