Providence, RI – CVMC won two prestigious regional marketing awards, the Lamplighter awards, from the New England Society for Health Care Communications (NESHCo). Membership in NESHCo currently stands at 240 members from the states of Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island, Vermont and New Hampshire.
Lamplighter Awards were presented at the spring conference held earlier this month in Providence, Rhode Island.
The Lamplighters were established to showcase and honor communications excellence in the New England region. “The Lamplighter Awards shines a light on the best and brightest PR, marketing and communications work from healthcare organizations throughout New England,” stated Gina Balkus, President, New England Society for Healthcare Communications.
There is one first place awarded in each category. Awards of excellence are presented to additional entries which deserve recognition in each category.
Central Vermont Medical Center was awarded first place in the Advertising: Print category, which includes single or series ads in newspapers or magazines. CVMC also received an award of excellence in the Advertising: Total Campaign category which includes planned campaigns that utilize advertising and sales promotion in two or more media. The marketing campaign was developed in partnership with Brandthropology and ads were produced by Brandthropology, located in Burlington.
“Overall, our community medical center has been working to keep the residents of central Vermont informed about all the services offered at CVMC in partnership with our highly talented and competent medical staff. We are moving toward a more proactive engagement with our community’s health,” said Daniel Pudvah, vice president of community relations and development at Central Vermont Medical Center. “We were very pleased to be recognized for our work, among New England’s finest in health care marketing.”
