September 1, 2006  Berlin, VT – Margaret van Dijk Lindsay , MD recently joined Barre Pediatrics, a Central Vermont Medical Center group practice. “I love taking care of children and their families,” said Dr. Lindsay.
Dr. Lindsay comes home to New England from New York, where she completed her residency at NYU Medical Center/Bellevue Hospital. She received her Doctor of Medicine at S.U.N.Y. Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, in 2003. Dr. Lindsay received the Richard L Day Award for Excellence in Pediatrics in 2003.
Dr Lindsay received her Masters in Music from Yale University School of Music (Harpsichord) in 1986 and her Doctorate in Musical Arts from S.U.N.Y .at Stony Brook (Harpsichord). She was the recipient of the Frank H Beebe Award for Travel and Performance in Music and has lived and performed in France, Italy and England. Her recent performances include Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts (NY), the Boston Early Music Festival, the Academia Musicale Chigiana, Siena, Italy and conducting baroque opera at the Yale Center for British Art.
Margaret moved to central Vermont with her husband and their two year old twins. Dr. Lindsay enjoys family time and hiking and in the sparest of moments, quilting.
