November 16, 2006 Donna Izor, MS, FACMPE, vice president of Central Vermont Medical Center Medical Group Practices and Community Health, has become a Fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE). Fellowship in the ACMPE (FACMPE) is the highest distinction in the medical practice management profession. It signifies superior standards of performance and professional competency as well as ongoing personal and professional development in the field. Founded in 1956, ACMPE is the standard-setting and certification body of the Medical Group Management Association. Donna is the second Vermont resident to obtain Fellowship status. Donna received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Vermont, her Master of Science in Administration from St. Michael’s College, and was certified by the Medical Group Management Association. She began work in practice administration in 1990 and has worked at Central Vermont Medical Center for the last nine years. Donna Izor lives in Waterbury with her husband Ray.
