 Montpelier, Vt – “Central Vermont Medical Center recognizes that quality of care depends upon quality people. This happens every day at CVMC due to the men and women who exhibit our values that we refer to as the 4 Cs – courtesy, commitment, collaboration and creativity.” This was part of CEO Daria Mason’s message to her staff.
Central Vermont Medical Center is one of the top employers in Washington county with 1200 full and part time employees.
Three people received 40-year awards: David Ewen, plant facilities; Bonnie Sibley, LPN, cardiology; and Dorothy Tibbetts, surgical services. Seven people have been with the medical center for 35 years: Rita Copeland, health information systems; Eldora Deyo, Davis Special Care Unit; Nancy M. Goodrich, nutrition and food services, Paul Laffal MD, medical staff; Ray C. McLeod, director of the laboratory; Christine M. Robbins, RN, medical surgical unit; and Larry Spargo, property management.
Eleven employees received 30-year awards, fifteen received 25-year awards, twenty-two employees received 20-year awards, sixteen received 15-year awards; 28 people received ten-year awards and over 60 people received five-year awards.
