Nordic Walking
Nordic walking, or walking with poles, is a fun way to increase the calories you burn while walking. It helps you establish rhythm, use more upper body muscles, and can burn 40% more calories with the same perceived effort. This spring we invite you to sample some or all of the following walks. We’ll fit you for poles, give you some simple pointers, then set off for a group walk. Bring your own XC ski poles or we’ll supply them. Presented by Central Vermont Community Connections, CVMC, and the Vermont Department of Health. All walks are easy-moderate difficulty with the option of turning back at any time.
To register, please call 371-4199. Also, If the weather is questionable the day of the walk, give us a call to see if it’s still happening.
